New Jersey authorities are searching this Thursday for a white truck in whose cabin a woman was seen in apparent danger, bloodied and screaming.
Police in South Brunswick, a Newark suburb south of New York City, said the woman was seen calling for help around 2 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 130 at the Ridge Road exit.
A witness said the woman appeared to be bleeding from her face and reported seeing the truck driver pull her "into the cab," police said.
The witness, a customer at a car dealership, says he saw the semi stop and the woman try to jump out of the truck, the NBC News station in New York reported.

He noted that the woman managed to escape almost entirely from the cabin before being forced back inside.
Authorities released footage showing the truck stopping, a person running toward the vehicle, and then the vehicle speeding down a busy highway.
The police reported that the cab of the truck is a white model from the manufacturer Volvo and has blue letters engraved on the side.
