Unpleasant news in Langenpreising: The fiber optics canceled around 80 appointments with customers for the completion of house connections.
Langenpreising – Mayor Josef Straßer has not been entirely happy with the German fiber optics in Langenpreising for a long time.
Now he had to report unpleasant news: According to his report, around 80 appointments with customers for the completion of house connections were simply canceled without justification.
Strasser had reported several times in public meetings in the municipal council of problems with even being named a competent contact person.
He had vented his anger in clear words.
He now had a reason to do just that.
After all, he now had a contact person, explained Straßer in an interview with our newspaper.
And he promptly had to serve as a lightning conductor: "I told him clearly that it wouldn't work like that.
Customers can expect at least one reason for the cancellation, ”explained the mayor.
After all, he was able to find out a specific date when it should continue.
Strasser was named August 19th.

Fiberglass: No denials
At the German fiber optics, they didn't even try to deny anything or downplay the glitch.
It was actually the case that there were unexpected technical difficulties, a spokesman said when asked by our newspaper.
These difficulties would have to do with the power supply of the central distribution facilities.
That is why the work in Zustorf and Langenpreising could not continue.
Without this preparatory work in the main distributors, there was no point in the employees' home visits.
The main distributors bundle the incoming main line, from there it goes in a star shape to the house connections.
These difficulties should be resolved in about two weeks, and then of course all canceled appointments would be made up for and made new with the customers, the company spokesman announced.
