Tuesday is the closing day in the Gaza Strip and the residents are angry: "We invite Lapid to come and sleep here"
Following the fear of revenge for the arrest of a senior Islamic Jihad leader at the beginning of the week, the residents of the Otaf are closed in the settlements, and this even before any attempts to harm were made, and while life in the Gaza Strip is going on peacefully.

Residents of the Gaza Strip are now curfewing exits from the settlements for the third day, following the security tensions prevailing in the area after the arrest of a senior Islamic Jihad leader earlier this week.
"It's a situation we're not familiar with, that they close roads for fear of shooting, even before a shot is fired at all," they say.
In a special video, 12-year-old Renana Butzer Suissa from Kfar Gaza called on Prime Minister Yair Lapid to stay at her house, in order to understand the feelings of the local residents.
"It feels different here," she says.
She noted that MK Naftali Bennett was also a guest at her home in 2018, when he was Minister of Education. Knesset member Nira Shafak Mish Atid is her kibbutz member.
Hila Moran Madamoni, a resident of Sderot, also calls on MKs to come to the area.
"It's a situation we don't know where roads are closed for fear of being shot, before they've even been shot," she says.
"I would have expected that instead of busying themselves with the election campaign, the government ministers would come here. Come to the area to see how the residents of the Otaf live.
This is not a campaign, this is our life.
We don't want to be an election campaign."

Residents of the Gaza Strip are now curfewing exits from their communities for the third day due to fear of retaliation for the arrest of a senior Islamic Jihad figure on Monday night.
IDF forces blocked the main roads in the area, and this morning the IDF raised the alert level in the Gaza Strip to another level.
In recent hours the waters of the Gaza Strip have been filled with armed unmanned aircraft in order to locate anti-tank units of the Islamic Jihad - and damage them. This is due to a concrete warning that the Islamic Jihad has sent out anti-tank units to the first line of houses in order to harm IDF soldiers, civilians or in vehicles.
