Dozens of Palestinians demanded today, during a solidarity stand, east of Bethlehem in the West Bank, to hand over the bodies of the martyrs in the Israeli occupation prisons, stressing that the continued detention of the bodies is a war crime and a violation of human rights and international covenants.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the vigil organized by the national forces in the town of Janata in Bethlehem raised the Palestinian flag and banners denouncing the continued detention of the bodies of the martyrs, including the body of the 17-year-old martyr Mutassim Atallah, who was martyred on the eighth of last May in Bethlehem, and they also chanted slogans. Emphasizes the continuation of the struggle in the face of the occupation.
The Palestinian Prisoners Club confirmed last month that the occupation authorities' continued detention of the bodies of the martyrs constitutes a flagrant violation of international laws and falls within the framework of its aggressive policies against the Palestinian people.
