The Coast Guard indicated in another tweet that they had identified 15 people, of which 5 were still to be found.

No details were given about the type of incident recorded or the origin of the people involved.

In recent months, the coasts of Florida have been the scene of several incidents involving migrants trying to reach the United States, many of them from Cuba and Haiti, according to the Coast Guard.
