Damascus Governorate announced the closure of Tawfiq Jana Street behind the Damascus Police Headquarters building in front of traffic coming from Khaled Ibn Al-Waleed Street and heading to Al-Hejaz Square, starting today and for 45 days, due to construction and maintenance works.
The director of traffic and transport engineering in the governorate, Eng. Samer Haddad, explained that the directorate’s workshops, in coordination with the Damascus Traffic Branch, placed the necessary traffic diversions and indication signs at the end of Khaled Bin Al-Waleed Street to direct traffic and guide drivers coming from the street towards Al-Hejaz Square.
Haddad called on drivers to cooperate and abide by diversions and indications for temporary traffic.
