Entering the station in 1963, on the editorial side, Christian Barbier remembered in a podcast entitled “Radiophile” of his interview with Sartre.
“I was the only one to bring back the interview!
I hid for two or three days in front of his house.
At one point I got in the taxi with him, he told me he didn't have time, that we would see the next day.
The next day, he came directly to me and I did the short interview with Sartre explaining to me why he had refused the Nobel Prize for Literature.
This resourcefulness was

", he explained, referring to one of the station's pillars of the day.

At the end of the 1960s, Christian Barbier began to give voice.
In an evening show called “Night Service”, and soon to be renamed “The Night is Yours”.
It will stop in 1973. In 1980, here he is back in “Barbier de nuit”, where cultural personalities, writers and directors parade.
The show will exist until 1998. Many listeners have fallen asleep with the voice of Christian Barbier.
