Dispute in the Waakirchner apartment: the police are investigating attempted manslaughter

Waakirchen – A dispute between four men on Thursday in Waakirchen-Marienstein caused a police operation and a stay in the hospital.
Four men got into an argument on Thursday evening (August 4th) in the shared apartment in Waakirchen.
A 33-year-old was injured with a pole and in turn injured a 30-year-old with a knife so badly that he had to be treated in intensive care in a hospital.
"The 33-year-old was presented to the investigating judge today for attempted manslaughter and was taken into custody," said spokesman Stefan Sonntag from the police headquarters in Oberbayern-Süd.
"The 30-year-old and the other two men are being investigated for dangerous bodily harm."
Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Thursday evening, a dispute and a violent physical altercation broke out in the shared apartment of the four Yemeni nationals in the Marienstein district of Waakirchen.
According to the status of the criminal investigation, a 33-year-old suffered a slight head injury from being hit with a pole during the altercation.
The man then severely injured his opponent with a knife.
The 30-year-old was taken to a hospital where he needed intensive care.
According to the doctors treating him, there is no danger to life, the police said.
Under the direction of the Munich II public prosecutor's office, the K1 department at the Miesbach criminal police station is now investigating the case.
The alleged knife attacker was brought before the investigating judge on Friday at the request of the public prosecutor's office for attempted manslaughter.
An arrest warrant was issued against him.
He was then taken into custody in a correctional facility.
The 30-year-old and his two alleged accomplices (22 and 41 years old) are being investigated for dangerous bodily harm.
