The very recent decision of the administrative court of Paris to suspend the expulsion of the imam of the North Hassan Iquioussen, accused by the authorities of having made anti-Semitic, homophobic and "
anti-women
" remarks during sermons, has caused widespread reaction the oppositions.
On social networks, the National Rally (RN) and Les Républicains (LR) were the main parties to make their anger heard.

At the forefront of the indignant, the Lepenist formation denounced in chorus "
the impotence
" of the French Minister of the Interior.
Jordan Bardella, candidate for the presidency of the RN, was particularly virulent.
He notably accuses Gérald Darmanin of "
ridiculing France
" and of offering "
a victory to the militants of political Islam who defy it
".
The president of the RN group at the Palais Bourbon, Marine Le Pen, for her part, deplored the "
cowardice of governments
".

LR executives also spoke about the case.

," said Olivier Marleix, president of the Les Républicains group in the Assembly.
For Éric Ciotti, deputy of the Alpes-Maritimes and candidate for the head of the Republicans, this decision is "
incomprehensible
".

I will table, on Monday, a bill establishing a double penalty of automatic expulsion for foreign offenders and allowing the administrative expulsion of any foreigner if France so decides
", he added.
Few reactions from the Nupes side, on the other hand.
David Guiraud, MP for the eighth district of the North, however, issued a press release.

On Friday August 5, the Paris administrative court decided to suspend the expulsion of Imam Hassan Iquioussen, ordered on July 28 by Gérald Darmanin.
In its conclusions, the court considered that the decision would cause a “
disproportionate attack
” on his “
private and family life
”.
The preacher from the north of France was, among other things, accused by the French authorities of spreading anti-Semitic and conspiratorial theses concerning the Islamist attacks of 2015. The Minister of the Interior appealed the decision before the Council of State .
