Rammstein is planning a New Year's Eve concert at the Theresienwiese in Munich.

A real cracker.

Yes, there are still many unanswered questions - and the city council must give the green light.

Munich – Rammstein wants to go to Munich – Germany's best-known band is planning a New Year's Eve concert on the Theresienwiese.

The city council must agree on Wednesday in the holiday senate.

But does the town hall want Rammstein?

In fact, a clear vote is not yet foreseeable.

Most factions want to make a final decision on Monday.

As reported, the concert agency had made a request to the city.

The event is scheduled to run from 8 p.m. to midnight.

As a reminder: If the city council does not agree on August 10th, Rammstein would move the New Year's Eve concert to North Rhine-Westphalia.

However, Fuchs warns against taking a hasty decision: “We cannot make a decision before it has been clarified what the noise protection for the residents is like.

In addition, there is still no security concept.” The blue light organizations in particular are massively overloaded on New Year's Eve.

Furthermore, the Munich transport company (MVG) must explain how it will cope with such a mass rush.

The SPD is also at odds: "There are different opinions in our group," says group leader Anne Hübner.

“We will decide next Monday.

Then hopefully on the basis of a draft resolution that addresses all aspects from safety and ticket prices to the interests of local residents.” If the concert takes place, then ideally with a central fireworks display.
