"Hartz and heartily": Elvis blind in one eye - that happened
None of the fans responded to this information in the comments on the video, but this was not previously disclosed in episodes of "Hartz und Herzen".
So far it hasn't been an issue on the RTL2 show.

The father of the family from the Benz barracks gave this information on June 9, 2021 in the 43rd episode of his Facebook show "Simply Elvis".
In this episode, Elvis looks through a photo album of his childhood.

"Hartz and heartily": Elvis is blind in the left eye
In this episode, Elvis talks about his childhood through the photo album.
He explains that he used to celebrate each of his birthdays in Yugoslavia (today Croatia), always wanted to be a cowboy or an Indian at carnival and that he made his first attempts at walking at the age of 6 months.
Born in Croatia, he likes to think back to his childhood, because he "was sheltered, had everything a child should have and beyond".
Then the man from Mannheim talks about his severe stroke of fate: At the age of 8 or 9, Elvis lost the sight in his left eye.
“Back then we played with slingshots with the boy next door.
Back in the summer holidays he shot me straight in the eye.
I've been blind in my left eye since then," he explains.
"Hartz and heartily": Stone hits Elvis in the face - eyesight lost forever
Initially, doctors in Yugoslavia considered replacing little Elvis' eye with a glass eye.
His parents were not enthusiastic about the idea and went back to Germany with their son.
In the Heidelberg head clinic, the experts found that the cult Mannheimer does not need a glass eye, since the mobility of the eye is still guaranteed and a glass eye is not possible.
"It moves and it doesn't bother, so why put in a glass eye if it's not necessary," Elvis recalls the doctors' statements.
Unfortunately, the doctors can't do anything for the eyesight, because the retina has been torn off and it can't be repaired, and that's why the cult Mannheimer is blind in the left eye.
Elvis also suffers from the disease patchy hair loss, which is why he no longer has any hair, beard or eyebrows.
