Alleging that on August 10, 2018, he stole a black wallet containing a Hong Kong identity card, $10 in cash, and bank cards and credit cards belonging to Du Wenxian from the Hong Kong Football Association in Ho Man Tin; and On June 17, 2020, at a unit in Xiaohui Huating, Tianguang Road, To Kwa Wan, he possessed Du Wenxian's ID card.
The defendant was also charged with communicating information believed to be false to the police on May 4 of the same year, with the intent to convince the police that there were bombs or items that would explode or catch fire in Kowloon Pui Ching Secondary School and Sing Yan Secondary School.
The defendant, Yang Weizhong, was charged with falsely reporting a bomb, stealing and possessing another person's ID card, and all were convicted.
