A beluga whale has been spotted in the Seine River in France, and officials are now considering how to save the large mammal that is supposed to live in the cold waters of the Arctic Ocean. According to reports, the whale is now in the Bevarno River, about 70 km northwest of Paris.
The whale was first seen on Tuesday in the river that flows to Paris and from there to the English Channel.
Just two months ago a killer whale was seen swimming in the waters of the Seine.
The public was asked to keep a distance from the whale, which appeared to be underweight.

Experts wonder why the whale strayed so far south from its natural habitat.
"The challenge now is to feed him and try to accompany him towards the ocean," said Lamia Ismaili, head of the environmental organization "Sea Shepherd France".
According to her, taking the animal out of the sea would be too dangerous a step.
According to her, her team will arrive at the spot with drones to identify the exact location of the whale.
"The environment here is not favorable for the beluga, the San is very polluted and noisy, and these mammals are very sensitive to noise."
Photos of the whale swimming slowly in the river surfaced online.
The size of the whale is unknown, but the length of a mature whale can reach four meters or more.
