Four people were seriously injured Thursday evening, August 3, struck by lightning in the immediate vicinity of the White House in Washington, authorities announced.
Lightning struck two women and two men in the public park that borders the residence of the American president, inflicting "
injuries that could lead to death
", according to the firefighters of the American capital.
All four victims were hospitalized.
