Then he worked as a theater actor in many theater groups, especially the university theater group at Damascus University for six years. Between 1984 and 1990, he continued his studies at the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus from 1991 to 1997, after which he entered the field of classical singing and was taught by Professor Galina Khaldieva.

For music under the supervision of Professor Hamid Al-Basri, where he participated with her in the Arab Music Festival in Cairo in 1994.

Maestro Primo loved group singing, so he left behind his basic instrument (the English trumpet) and established choirs of different ages, including the Luna Choir, which includes five choirs and an orchestra, in addition to other choirs such as the Rainbow Choir, Alwan and Rose.

Primo held a number of positions, as he became the vice-dean of the Higher Institute of Music in Damascus and a teacher there, then a teacher at the College of Education in Damascus, a teacher at the (Mar Ephrem al-Syrian) College of Theology in Maarat Saydnaya, a coach and choir leader at Saint Ephrem al-Syrian College, and then assistant director of Dar al-Assad for Culture and Arts.
