Bettina and Franz Gassner played Maria and Josef in the nativity play in kindergarten.
Now the two have married.
Moosinning
- One speaks of sandpit love when a couple has known each other since early childhood.
With Bettina (24) and Franz Gaßner (25) from Moosinning, who have now said yes, one can confidently speak of a kindergarten love.
Because Bettina Humplmair and Franz Gaßner visited the Moosinninger kindergarten around 20 years ago.
“We played Maria and Joseph in the nativity play,” says Franz Gassner.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)
But it took a few more years until Maria and Josef, or Bettina and Franz, became a couple.
"During the 2014 World Cup, sparks ignited between us at the public viewing in Eching," says the farmer.
"Bettina moved to my farm in 2018 and since this year she has been running our farm shop full-time."
The couple is firmly rooted in Moosinning and is active in many clubs.
Bettina Gassner is chairwoman of the Moosinninger Madl'n Dirndl Association and a member of the traditional costume association.
Franz Gassner says with a smile: "I have to think about which club I'm not a member of." He laughs and says: "In any case, I'm with the fire brigade, I'm the second chairman, also with the torpedoes, with the brass band and also with Rot-Weiß Bressog.” And he adds with a laugh: “I am also a municipal councilor for the Moosinning citizens’ block.”
The couple has already had a short honeymoon.
"Right on the day of the wedding, after coffee and cake, we went to Seefeld for four days of wellness," says Franz Gassner.
"In November we may want to go further away, but we'll wait and see how the general situation is." Until then, the focus for the newlyweds will be on agriculture, the farm shop and the many clubs.
