Russian President Vladimir Putin reiterated the importance of preserving the territorial integrity and integrity of Syria.
A statement issued by the Russian President and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan after their meeting today in the Russian city of Sochi said that the events in Syria were among the issues that were touched upon, adding that the two sides stressed “the importance of preserving the unity and territorial integrity of Syria.”
The statement indicated "the determination to work in combating all terrorist organizations" in Syria.
It is noteworthy that the Turkish regime deploys occupying forces in parts of Syria and is one of the most prominent supporters of terrorist organizations on its lands.
