Today, the activities of the Tenth Dilba Forum for Culture and Arts, entitled “Syrians in Mashta al-Helou” in Tartous Governorate, concluded with a theatrical performance and a musical evening by the Gardenia choir led by Maestro Ghada Harb.
The head of the Mashta El-Helou municipal council, lawyer Joseph Eid, referred to the concerted efforts that were made and the cooperation based on love and familiarity among the participants who sought to make the forum a success, while providing all possibilities and logistical support for its continuation, indicating that the participants were honored with memorial shields.
The general supervisor of the festival, Wael Sabbagh, noted the importance of the diversity of activities that took place during the forum, which help in revitalizing the tourism movement in the region.
The plastic artist Lina Deeb stated that the ceramics workshop included coloring the works that the children made within the forum by transforming clay into solid sculptures as pieces of art, which were grilled in the clay house oven.
A theatrical show entitled “Thawat” was also held by the Mashta El Helou theater group, under the supervision of Antoine Mikhail, with the participation of 7 young people, on the stage of Nidal Theater in the Mosaic Garden of the Forum.
The closing activities also included a musical evening entitled “Syria’s Songs” revived by the Gardenia Coral, led by the able musician Ghada Harb, who presented a variety of Syrian heritage songs.
It is noteworthy that the festival, which was organized by the Ministry of Culture, was launched on the 30th of July and included forums, art workshops, theatrical performances, and musical and lyrical evenings.
