The female seller and her sister were robbed by three gangsters armed with knives and sticks when they traded with the buyer using reusable bags and handbags.
It happened that a police officer was nearby and joined the pursuit, successfully subdued one of them and retrieved his handbag.
Two unemployed men were arrested later, but they denied any involvement in the robbery. The case will be heard in the High Court today (5th).
Defendants Zhang Zixuan and Zhou Diwen (both 23 years old) both reported being unemployed.

The prosecution's opening statement stated that the victim Xu Beixi sold her Hermès handbags on the trading platform Carousell.
In March 2020, a woman expressed her intention to buy Xu, and Xu finally agreed to sell it for 390,000 yuan.
At about 7 pm on the day of the incident, she, her sister Xu Beiyin, and a male colleague of her sister Wang Yongquan went to the place involved to wait for settlement.
The sister was holding an eco bag with a Hermes handbag inside.
Nearby police officers help arrest 1 man
During the period, Lin Kuangran, wearing a mask and cap, and two defendants appeared, each with a knife or stick-like weapon, and one of them claimed to have robbed.
In the chaos, Wang and Xu Beiyin were attacked and injured.
Lin snatched the reusable bag, and the other two took the opportunity to escape.
A nearby police officer assisted in arresting Lin, retrieved his handbag, and seized a 44-centimeter-long knife. The other two defendants fled without a trace.
They were arrested in Mong Kok on April 5 of the same year and made a confession under caution.
