Dar Al-Assad for Culture in Lattakia witnessed a concert by the Association of the Handicapped and their Friends, the Directorate of Culture and the Mahmoud Al-Ajjan Institute of Music in honor of the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army, in conjunction with the anniversary of the Army Day.

The concert, presented by the Watan Al-Ghar choir, entitled (Peace be upon you.. the meeting of generations), in which students of the Mahmoud Al-Ajjan Institute orchestra and the wounded of the Syrian Arab Army, who presented musical pieces, patriotic songs and artistic paintings embodying the march and story of a homeland.

Hussein Salhab, the coach and conductor of the orchestra at the Al-Ajjan Institute and the conductor of the Watan Al-Ghar choir, Hussein Salhab, told SANA reporter that participation in this ceremony was a token of love for the Syrian Arab Army and in honor of its wounded, with the participation of students from the institute’s orchestra from 9 to 16 years old, with the aim of emphasizing the idea of ​​the convergence of generations in building and defending the homeland, explaining that Preparations continued over a period of 6 months.

The director of the Mahmoud Al-Ajjan Institute, Shatha Muhammad, pointed to the importance of this joint work in terms of musical techniques and the way of playing it, and the accompanying patriotic songs such as (Amen Yaqina) and (Helm of the Earth) and other patriotic songs.

In turn, the wounded Ibrahim Al-Tazh affirmed that the sincerity of the message emanating from the heart is able to give optimism and hope despite the injury and make the wounded refuse to feel helpless and to be armed with strong determination and determination.

As the two wounded Ibrahim Mustafa and Ali Kardoush showed that life continues and does not stop at injury or injury, but rather continues with determination and hope for a better tomorrow.

A member of the Board of Directors of the Association for the Handicapped and their Friends, Ahlam Deeb, indicated that for the fifth year in a row, the Association continues to train and embrace the wounded and encourage them to participate in national events that convey their message and heroism.

Ahmed Hammoud, a cellist, and Dalaa Al-Jardi, a viola player, noted the importance of this experience, which made them play with the participation of the wounded in the army, stressing that the message is one and the goal is common among the people of the country.
