According to a host of a talk show on mainstream Russian television, Kim Jong Un made the generous offer to relieve exhausted Russian forces amid Ukrainian momentum

Does Russia think it has found a tiebreaker that will allow it to achieve a breakthrough in the war in Ukraine?

At least according to the propaganda machine in Moscow, the answer seems to be yes: a talk show host on the country's establishment television claimed on Friday that North Korea had offered 100,000 "volunteers" to help Russian forces on the frontline.

It is not clear what is meant by North Korean volunteers, since the Asian country is a totalitarian country where civil rights are almost non-existent.

The "New York Post" published that moderator Igor Korochenko claimed that the proposal of the dictator from Pyongyang includes a willingness to send his soldiers so that "they will take part in the moves" actively.

However, the moderator said that he had not received official confirmation that such a proposal was on the table.

According to him, North Korea has "rich experience in anti-battery warfare", apparently referring to the advanced artillery systems that the West sent to Ukraine, including the HIMARS.

He also said that "if North Korea expresses a desire to act according to its international obligation to fight against Ukrainian fascism, we should allow them."

As you may remember, recently the Russian campaign has been faltering, and it seems that the Ukrainians have begun to gain more and more courage to such an extent that in Kyiv they are talking optimistically about the liberation of the city of Kherson, the first large city that Russia captured at the beginning of the war.

Among other things, the Ukrainian success stems from the massive aid from the West, but also from the attrition on the Russian side and the heavy losses suffered by Moscow.
