Hundreds of Israeli Arabs demonstrated this evening (Saturday) in the cities involved in support of Gaza during the military operation.
MKs of the joint list participated in one of the demonstrations. In a demonstration in the German colony in Haifa initiated by the Haifa Hirak movement, the demonstrators chanted slogans such as "Abu Obeidah ya hero" and "Our flag is a Palestinian flag".
The chairman of the joint list, MK Ayman Odeh, said at the demonstration: "Round leads to round, more killings and more resistance."
We must stop the cycle of terror.
We went out to demonstrate together for the only way that will benefit the people of both nations - real negotiations to end the occupation, the establishment of a Palestinian state alongside Israel and a just peace."

MK Aida Toma-Soliman from the joint called: "Stop the attack on Gaza!
The continuation of the war on Gaza will only lead to more suffering and victims.
We need an immediate ceasefire.
Whoever started the attack with a political decision can end it with a political decision.
Only a political solution and the end of the occupation and siege will buy real security."
Sami Hoari, social activist from Acre: "Today I was on a sea tour from Haifa to Acre and back. Despite the scorching heat, the ship was full in both directions, mainly Jewish families, with children. The atmosphere was relaxed, apparently we got used to a situation of fighting every year and a half or two years, we catch this situation as normal! Inside the Old Acre market the situation is normal, it seems to me that the reality of war has not yet penetrated the consciousness of both the residents of Acre and the tourists who arrive. All the places, restaurants and shops are open. The situation in Acre is calm. You don't see any tension or between Jews and Arabs, And I guess the business owners pray that it will continue like this."
