The Xinhua news agency quoted Syrian Ambassador to China Muhammad Hassanein Khaddam as saying that Syria strongly opposes Pelosi's visit to Taiwan and considers this move a blatant provocation and US interference in China's internal affairs to undermine its sovereignty, adding: "Pelosi's insistence on visiting the Chinese region of Taiwan not only exacerbates tensions in China." Khaddam pointed out that the United States is wreaking havoc around the world, as the American army continues to occupy the main grain and oil-producing areas in Syria, stealing its wealth and making the humanitarian situation more difficult in the country.

Khaddam pointed out that China has always adhered to the path of peaceful development, and that the Global Development Initiative and the Global Security Initiative proposed by China are beneficial to other countries, adding that Syria adheres to the one-China principle and supports China in its decision to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In turn, Algerian Ambassador to China Hassan Rabhi said that Pelosi's visit to Taiwan represents a flagrant violation of the commitment the United States made in the joint statement regarding the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the United States and a series of consensus reached between the governments of the two countries.

Rabhi added that Algeria adheres to the one-China principle and hopes the US side will stick to the three joint communiques between China and the US by taking concrete actions and stopping interfering in China's internal affairs.

He continued, "There is only one China in the world, and the government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing all of China. Taiwan is an inalienable part of China's territory. Pelosi's visit to Taiwan violated the United Nations Charter and relevant resolutions."

The Iraqi ambassador to China, Shorsh Khaled Saeed, reiterated his country's position in support of the one-China principle, stressing that this position is "steady and well-established."

Saeed explained that Pelosi's visit to Taiwan will negatively affect the situation across the Taiwan Strait and jeopardize regional peace and stability, adding that China possesses wisdom and ability to resolve this crisis, and that Iraq supports China in its decisions to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

For his part, Iranian Ambassador to China Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh expressed his country's position in resolutely adhering to the "one China" principle, condemning the long-term acts of US interference in the internal affairs of other countries and US attempts to undermine the national sovereignty of those countries, adding: "We support China's moves to protect its sovereignty, unity and safety." its lands.”
