The head of the Kherson district administration Vladimir Leontiev announced the death of the deputy head of the Novaya Kakhovka district administration, Vitaly Gur, after he was subjected to an assassination.
And RIA Novosti news agency quoted Leontiev as saying today: "Gur died in the hospital, as military doctors sought to save his life," noting that Gur was working wonderfully on restoring the area after the Ukrainian missile bombing.
Gunmen attacked Gur near his house earlier today, shooting directly at him.
