For many years, the traditional community exercise for all volunteer fire brigades has been held in the Seefeld community on the first Monday in August.

This year, the Hechendorf fire brigade was entrusted with the organization.

Hechendorf

– A fire broke out in a hall of the Dosch am Oberfeld agricultural estate.

Is there enough water during the firefighting attack?

How do the joint processes succeed?

All of this was put to the test during the exercise.

And it went like clockwork, Hechendorf's commander Benjamin Grütze was completely satisfied: "Everything worked out great."

Almost 100 firefighters met on Monday evening at the Dosch property.

The command of operations was in the hands of the organizing Wehr Hechendorf, which also carried out the first attack.

The rescue workers recovered gas cylinders, a security squad took over a respiratory protection emergency.

The Oberalting fire brigade provided support with a fire truck and turntable ladder as well as breathing apparatus carriers.

The Meilingen weir ensured the water supply for the turntable ladder, the Drößling and Unering fire brigades built a block for neighborly development.

The emergency services then discussed the exercise.

During a snack, the rescue workers exchanged ideas with each other, inspected the new fire brigade equipment house of the Hechendorfer and the new vehicle of the Meilinger Wehr.

"We worked very well together," said Benjamin Grütze.
