The Hong Kong importer of Häagen-Dazs announced today (6th) that six more flavours were affected.
In the evening, the Center for Food Safety stated that in addition to the six models announced by the importer earlier today, another batch of brown sugar milk tea x 呍危 crispy ice cream may also be contaminated with ethylene oxide, that is, a total of seven ice creams are affected.

The Center for Food Safety stated that a batch of brown sugar milk tea and crispy ice cream was suspected to be contaminated at night
A spokesman for the center said that the above-mentioned products may be contaminated with ethylene oxide, a pesticide banned in the EU, and the contamination problem is suspected to be caused by the raw materials used in the production process.
The affected products had been imported into Hong Kong. Upon learning of the incident, the CFS immediately contacted local importers to follow up.
The affected batches of products have been kept in warehouses since their arrival in Hong Kong and have not been released from the market.
Since ethylene oxide has been banned by the European Union, for the sake of prudence, the Center for Food Safety has inspected the relevant warehouses and sealed the relevant products.
