The Ministry of Internal Trade and Consumer Protection issued a decision according to which the price of a liter of premium octane 90 subsidized gasoline received on the electronic card was 2500 Syrian pounds, the price of an octane liter of 90 at a cost price of 4000 Syrian pounds, and the price of an octane liter 95 at 4500 Syrian pounds per liter.
In a statement, which SANA received a copy of, the ministry called on the station owners to announce the prices and quality of gasoline in a clear and legible manner, noting that the decision will enter into force at midnight.
The ministry indicated that this decision comes with the aim of reducing the huge losses in the oil budget and to ensure that the material is not interrupted or lacking in availability.
