Thousands of them come to Eching to celebrate for four days and have fun at the brass music festival in the leisure area on Lake Eching.
Eching
- The eighth BrassWiesn after the Corona break on Thursday had a brilliant, midsummer restart - with more visitors than ever.
On Saturday, for example, up to 21,000 guests are expected.
Patience and a good mood were required on the way to the campsite
On the day of arrival, after a long traffic jam, unloading and walking to the campsite, the party people needed patience and a good mood.
But in addition to handcarts or wheelbarrows, beer crates and tent accessories, inflatable boats, music systems and their own musical instruments, they are part of the standard equipment for experienced festival visitors anyway.
Of course, the arrival had to be properly celebrated: at 33 degrees and a cloudless sky, alternatively a cool blonde, the blue Echinger See or both were very popular.
Around 80 bands make music on five stages
Around 80 bands will provide musical variety on five stages.
For regular guests and BrassWiesn insiders, there will be a reunion with LaBrassBanda, Shantel & Bucovina Club Orkestar, Erwin & Edwin, Haindling, Die Fexer and the Josef Menzl band.
Bands with the descriptive names "Kapelle Kaiserschmarrn", "Äff tam tam" or "Gewürztraminer und da gmischte Satz" also sound inviting to promising.
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Freising newsletter.)
“Slowed down” and particularly family-friendly areas with playgrounds have also been prepared on the extensive grounds.
If you love being active, you can take part in yodelling and dance workshops.
Various beer gardens and even a beer carousel, old bulldogs, culinary delights from brass burgers to Baumstriezel and romantic maypoles and straw bales ensure a mixture of alpine cosiness and festival atmosphere.
