The Russian Defense Ministry has warned of new provocations prepared by the Kyiv authorities related to alleged attacks to blame the Russian army for the deaths of civilians.
"These criminal acts are carried out with the permission of the Kyiv regime, which regularly and deliberately creates conditions for the killing of its citizens in order to blame Russia," the RIA Novosti news agency quoted the head of the Russian National Defense Monitoring Center Mikhail Mezintsev as saying.
Mizintsev pointed to the participation of foreign journalists in filming alleged incidents of civilian deaths, to blame then on Russian forces.
