Work and voluntary commitment were no longer compatible: Forstern municipal councilor Sina Kiel (Greens) has therefore resigned her mandate.
Forstern
– Sina Kiel says farewell to the Forstern municipal council.
The Greens municipal councillor, elected to the committee in 2020, was given a small present at the meeting before the summer break.
"On behalf of the municipality and myself personally, I would like to thank you for your political commitment.
It is no longer a matter of course that you get involved and help shape something," said Mayor Rainer Streu (AWG).
(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)
Kiel has a lot of work with her veterinary practice in Erding.
The two can no longer be combined, which is why she can no longer perceive her involvement in the municipal council as she would like.
"I thought it was great and would have liked to have continued," Kiel said regretfully.
According to the number of votes in the 2020 local elections, bookseller Anette Sharmatinat would now join the committee.
Her husband Thorsten is already a member of the Green Party council.
It is already the second change of mandate in the Forstern municipal council in this electoral term: a year ago, AWG Councilor Marlene Pawelczyk resigned from her post because she had moved for family reasons.
She was succeeded by Wilhelm Ertl.
