The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed that the bombing of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant by the Kyiv regime forces was a "nuclear terrorist act".

"In the event of an accident at the Zaporozhye plant, a global man-made catastrophe will occur, which in terms of the volume of radioactive contamination will greatly exceed the consequences of the accidents that occurred at the Chernobyl and Fukushima nuclear power plants," Mizintsev added, noting that the radioactive contamination area would amount to more than 5.3 thousand square kilometers. .
Mezintsev noted that this region will include Zaporozhye, Kharkov, Poltava, Kherson, Odessa, Nikolaev, Kirovograd, Vinnitsa, the Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics, the border regions of Russia and Belarus, as well as Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania, calling on the United Nations, the International Atomic Energy Agency and other international organizations to condemn the criminal acts of the Kyiv authorities and to take urgent measures to prevent provocations by the Kiev authorities.
