The Governor of Damascus Countryside, Safwan Abu Saada, discussed with the Board of Directors of the Damascus and Rural Chamber of Industry, ways of enhancing cooperation to improve the work and production environment in all industrial areas to implement more projects in them.
During the meeting, which was held in the governorate building today, a presentation was made of the most prominent needs of the industrial areas and cities, including issuing administrative licenses, facilitating industrial work for the various administrative units, securing industry requirements related to seasonal crops, granting industrialists their full allocations of fuel, and working on issuing the organizational scheme for the Tel Kurdi region in a manner commensurate with the localization Existing industrial facilities.
The members of the Chamber’s Council pointed out the importance of expediting this plan in terms of the industrialists’ stability in the region and the proper planning of its services, calling for the creation of an industrial zone in Khirbet al-Shayab to serve as a model for the ecological industrial zones in Syria.
The governor, Abu Saada, explained that a number of projects are being worked on, such as securing alternative energy (solar energy) for the industrial areas and cities in them.
Governor Abu Saada noted the importance of the monthly shopping festival (Made in Syria), which is held by the Chamber in various governorates, stressing support for it by providing all the facilities required for its continuation and expansion of participation in it.
For his part, President of the Chamber, Samer Al-Debs, pointed to the importance of concerted efforts to find solutions to work obstacles and problems faced by industrialists in a way that ensures the improvement of the work environment and the development of the industrial sector in various fields.
