A successful Violinissimo year came to an end with an extraordinary echo concert in the district music school (KMS) Erding.

Erding

– The soloists Victoria Heide, Katharina Bauer, Anna Kellner and Clara Büsel shone in front of a full hall with virtuoso violin literature and convinced with musical depth, beautifully modulated violin tone and enchanting stage presence.

They were accompanied on the piano by Thomas Noichl.

The young violinist Ferdinand Eisenreich (9) showed with his brother Leo (7, cello) and Mama Martina (violin) how fulfilling chamber music can be in a family setting.

(By the way: everything from the region is now also available in our regular Erding newsletter.)

This event was initiated by Ulli Büsel in the spirit of meeting Ukrainian families.

She reports that the young violinissimo musicians welcomed refugee children and their relatives to dance, cook, play and make music for several weekends: "After initial teething problems, word got around among the Ukrainian guests, and from the second appointment more than 30 children took part and adults took part in the meetings.” Girls learned dances, which they performed on stage at the concert.

The younger Violinissimo members also had the opportunity to play with orchestral accompaniment.

And so the 14-year-old Paula Nißl shone with the 3rd movement from A. Vivaldi's "Summer".

Twelve-year-old Carla Blechschmidt took the audience into the depths of her emotional world with Veracini's Largo in an orchestral version arranged by Ulli Büsel.

With Shostakovich's Prelude for two violins and piano, performed by Clara Büsel, Anna Kellner and Thomas Noichl, young Ukrainian dancers brought the good wishes of everyone present in the form of small lanterns onto the stage and lifted them up into the sky.

The project ended late in the evening with a joint summer party, and they parted with the agreement to plan another joint concert soon.

For Violinissimo, things continue in autumn with a concert in the Bavarian National Museum as part of the Munich Violin Days and an international concert in the Vienna Konzerthaus.
