Daraa-Sana
The branch of the Syrian Grain Corporation in Daraa has set Sunday and Wednesday of every week to receive wheat from farmers.
Branch manager, Engineer Hamidi Al-Khalil, said in a statement to SANA reporter today that this measure was taken with the decrease in the supply operations for the marketing centers of Izraa and Al-Sanamayn, indicating that the quantities marketed for the grain branch to date amount to 32,741 tons.
He added: The branch is carrying out sifting operations for the received wheat and preparing it in preparation for shipment to the public mills.
The branch has spent 64 billion Syrian pounds to the benefit of agricultural crop values through the branches of cooperative agricultural banks.
