Wave of violence in Mexico: the Civil Guard and alleged criminals face off with a balance of 13 dead

Authorities from the state of San Luis Potosí, in central Mexico, carried out an operation that led to a confrontation between the state Civil Guard and alleged criminals, leaving 13 dead and two arrested.

In the same state, authorities detained two women suspected of carrying out illegal burial of human bodies.
