A member of the Main Council of the Military and Civil Administration of the Zaporizhzhya region Vladimir Rogov revealed that the Ukrainian bombing on the territory of the nuclear power plant in the province caused power outages for more than 10 thousand residents.

"More than 10,000 people are without electricity now, as power has been cut off in two areas, and work is underway to repair electricity," Rogov said, expecting it to return soon.

Rogov explained that as a result of the bombing, a fire broke out in the territory of the nuclear power plant and it was extinguished.

And the Russian Defense Ministry announced yesterday that Ukrainian forces bombed the territory of the Zaporozhye nuclear plant, warning that this artillery bombardment could lead to a major fire and radiological accidents in the province.
