Did Vladimir Putin fall asleep during a briefing with the Minister of Defense?

Officials in Ukraine have revived a conspiracy theory that Russia uses a double to occasionally replace Vladimir Putin, pointing everyone to the proof - his changing ears.
Rumors have been circulating for the past few months about the poor health of the 69-year-old Russian president, with close ally Nikolai Petrushev reportedly filling in for him during his medical treatments.
Over the weekend, Ukraine's new head of military intelligence, Major General Kirill Budanov, told Ukrainian television that Putin's height and even his ears appear to have changed in recent appearances.
"The picture, let's say, of his ears, is different," he said during an appearance on the 'Grushi' channel.
"It's like a fingerprint, each person's ear is unique. It cannot be imitated," he explained.
Watch the changing ears
Budanov was also quoted by Ukrainian news outlet TSN as saying he believes the Russian president is seriously ill and using doubles to avoid public appearances.
He claimed that although they are very similar, Putin's body doubles "have different habits, different mannerisms, a different way of walking and sometimes even a different height if you look closely."
The British SUN reported that Budanov had earlier claimed that Putin had been replaced by a double during his recent visit to Iran.
He told Ukrainian news channel 1+1 that the Russian president seemed "more energetic than usual" when he landed in Tehran.
"Please look at the moment of Putin's exit from the plane," he said, "Is that even Putin?"

This is not the first time that Putin's allegedly changing ears have been used as evidence that he uses body doubles.
Back in 2018, IB Times reported on the conspiracy theory that Putin is actually three different people.
Putin himself even admitted in the past that he would consider using doubles.
A Twitter user known as English Russia, who has since been suspended, then shared three different photos of the Russian president, each with slightly different ears.
The photos, taken years apart, do seem to show a change in Putin's face.
In the earlier pictures, his ears are smaller and more pointed, with the two pieces of cartilage above the earlobe - the tragus and the antitragus - close together.
The later photos show a wider gap between his tragus and antitragus, while his earlobe is much larger.
Of course, there is a more plausible explanation for Putin's seemingly changing ears.
Our ears and nose continue to lengthen as we age, due to cartilage breakdown and drooping, and as a result they droop more as we age.

Alternatively, there have long been rumors that the Russian president has had plastic surgery or botox injections, which could also explain the slightly different shape of his ears from previous years, as well as his more puffy appearance.
Putin's fluctuating height could be due to his apparent penchant for wearing high-heeled shoes.
Officially, Putin's height is 1.70 m - only three centimeters shorter than the average height of men in Russia.
However, according to the rumors, he is shorter and his height is between one and a half meters and one meter and 65 cm.
At the same time, Putin's health remains shrouded in mystery. In a conversation with "The Telegraph" last Monday, the senior Ukrainian intelligence officer, Major General Vadi Skivitsky, that the Russian leader "is not in good health, physically or mentally." He added that the members of Putin's inner circle began to "frighten about his state of health." Skivitsky continued:
