The couple was supposed to get married in a hall near Ashkelon and in view of the restrictions they had to cancel • Following the appeal on the Facebook page 'Need something' they managed to find a solution • "The mobilization warms the heart"

Just before the happiest day of her life, Elsa Sebag found herself in trouble, a wedding venue falling within missile range.

"I am a new immigrant who needs to get married this coming Tuesday in the south, and because of the situation in the Gaza Strip, we may not be able to get married in the hall we closed," Elza wrote yesterday evening (Saturday night) in the Facebook group "Need something" in frustration.

"It means postponing the wedding for a few days, weeks or even months. My family lives abroad and if we postpone the wedding there's a good chance they won't be able to come.

Any help in the organization, especially in finding a place outside of 80 km from the Gaza Strip, would be appreciated."

At every turn in the Gaza Strip, couples who are supposed to get married find themselves in an impossible situation and are forced to make a decision quickly - whether to postpone the wedding, or find an alternative place quickly.

Many times the network enlists their help, as happened this time as well.

Elsa says that many rallied to their aid.

"We were supposed to get married in Sde Yoav, near Ashkelon, but we don't know what the situation is there. There is a reasonable chance that it will be forbidden to hold a wedding. I called companies and they offered to advertise in 'needing from Mashu'. The mobilization was tremendous, I had ninety messages on WhatsApp, people really tried Help, ask what can be done."

In Elsa's case, the solution came from a friend of her fiancé's parents.

"She works at an event center in Dimona and managed to organize a hall. The mobilization warms the heart, it is not obvious, especially on Tisha B'av."

At the same time as Elsa, Lior also turned to the network for help in order to try to find a solution to the reality in which they found themselves.

"My beloved sister is supposed to get married this coming Monday at Olim Nisya," said Lior in the Facebook group "We need something".

"At the moment, according to the situation, it is not clear if the event will take place. People are announcing cancellations of arrival. Please help, an alternative event center, help with the bureaucracy, I don't really know how to move an event from one place to another in 24 hours. The bride and groom are still not digesting and hope that the event will take place As usual, but brave then and hopefully for the best. I'd be happy for your help."

In a conversation with Israel Hayom, Lior says that even in this case the network rallied to their aid.

"There was quite a bit of mobilization for our post. This is with Israel. It warms the heart."

Lior points out that following the mobilization they have several options, but they are still considering what to do in the hope that the round will end.

"We are told that the restrictions will end at six today, and this is a problem in terms of the contract with the hall. It is very challenging to find a solution and change everything within 24 hours."
