Anne Haish has never been one of the most talked about actresses in Hollywood.
This did not prevent her from being a working actress who participated in several well-known projects (for example in the films "Wag the Dog" and "Six Days and Seven Nights"), one who does not need to worry too much about the roles - even if she is not exactly at the level of Meryl Streep.
Last weekend, the name of the 53-year-old American actress made headlines once again, but not in a positive context: while driving yesterday (Friday) in Los Angeles, she crashed into a house in the Mar Vista neighborhood - and was later admitted to a hospital in critical condition suffering from severe burns , after her train caught fire.
The woman sat in the car for about an hour until dozens of firefighters managed to get her out of it.
After the accident, the Los Angeles Police Department stated that the vehicle in which Haish was traveling "was traveling at a very high speed, when it suddenly lost control and crashed into a residence."
A photo later circulated on entertainment websites, apparently taken shortly before the accident, shows Hayes sitting in the driver's seat with what appears to be a partially drunk bottle of vodka next to her.

It seems that this is another stage in the complex and tragic life story of Heish.
Even before she was born, her parents, social activist Nancy Hayes and choir director Donald, had their daughter Nancy, who died of a heart defect.
Already in her childhood, a family used to move from place to place.
In 1983, Donald was one of the first people to be diagnosed with AIDS - which led to his family discovering for the first time that he was leading a double life: with them, he behaved like a typical heterosexual Baptist family man, but in his spare time he led a homosexual lifestyle, even having casual sex with men
He died of the disease at the age of 45.
In the autobiography she published in 2001, she told how her father raped her and even infected her with herpes.
"I think he was addicted to sex, I think he saw everyone as sexual beings," she said in an interview she gave to Larry King that year.
The pain of the actress did not end at this point, as only three months after her father's death, her younger brother Nathan was killed in a car accident, and he is 18. Hayes claimed that he tried to commit suicide, contrary to her mother's claim.
Many years later, in 2006, her sister Susan also died, after battling brain cancer.

This was not the first time that Hayes' name made headlines in a negative context.
In August 2000, she suffered a psychotic attack that caused her to walk the streets of Fresno, California in only her underwear, telling people she was going to take a spaceship ride.
She even told the children that she would take them to heaven in the same spaceship.
At one point, she knocked on the door of a foreign woman's house, went inside and stayed there for more than half an hour, during which she "drank many glasses of water", according to the same woman, asked to take a shower and even watched a movie.
Her star seemed to shine again in 2004, when she received an Emmy nomination for her role in the TV movie Gracie's Choice, in which she starred alongside Diane Ladd and Kristen Bell.
Hayes received huge exposure when she entered into a relationship with Ellen DeGeneres in 1997, and thus the two became one of the first gay couples in Hollywood to receive such a large media exposure.
They ended their relationship in 2000.
A short time later she married a photographer named Coleman Lappon, with whom she had her first child.
They separated in 2007 and officially divorced two years later.
Even earlier, in 2008, she became pregnant with actor James Tupper, who became her partner until their separation in 2018.
