Four people were killed and four others, including a member of parliament, were shot by gunmen in northwest Pakistan.
The Xinhua news agency quoted local Pakistani media as saying today: that gunmen attacked the convoy of Liaquat Ali Khan, a representative of the Pakistani parliament from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Maidan district of the province, causing him serious injuries and he was taken to hospital with the other injured.
The media added that among the dead was a brother and nephew of the regional representative, and that the police, security forces and rescuers rushed to the site and took the bodies and the injured to the hospital.
No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
