Today, at Al-Baath University in Homs, about 45,000 students have taken the open education exams for the second semester of 2021-2022, which will continue until the eighth of next September.
Dr. Abdul-Basit Al-Khatib, President of Al-Baath University, confirmed in a statement to SANA reporter that the students are divided into English translation programs, French translation, kindergarten, marketing, e-commerce, management of medium and small projects, legal studies and tourism guidance, in addition to a diploma in educational qualification.
Al-Khatib pointed to full coordination with the concerned faculties to provide the exam halls and stands, the required supplies and equipment, and to stress that observers and students abide by the instructions and directives of the exams to ensure their optimal functioning.
It is noteworthy that the open education system in Syrian universities was established in 2001 and aims to provide continuous education for students and workers who wish to continue their education and raise their scientific and cultural capabilities.
