The workshops of the cities of Arbin and Harasta, in cooperation with the governorate of Damascus Countryside, are working to remove and remove rubble and dust from the public road connecting them to facilitate the movement of citizens and cars, which started today.

The head of the local council in the city of Arbin, Adnan Al-Wazeh, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the mechanisms have been working since the morning to remove the accumulated dust on the road, amounting to about 500 cubic meters, maintain it, rinse it, fill in the pits, and remove a large part of the rubble, while the remaining part will be removed tomorrow morning, pointing out that the traffic It became available to cars and to citizens of today.

Al-Wazza pointed out the importance of this three-kilometer-long road, which shortens the distance between Arbin and Harasta and facilitates the entry and exit of products to Damascus, since Arbin includes many factories and economic facilities producing foodstuffs, timber and others, noting that during the coming period, full asphalt maintenance will take place on the road.

And in the coming days, a public road (Damascus) Harasta (Douma) will be opened towards Al-Dameer, Al-Shifouniyah and the rest of the towns with the aim of restoring vitality to those towns and facilitating transportation for citizens, according to Al-Wazza.
