Yesterday (6th) at around 11 pm, a woman was found hanging from her neck with a towel in the student dormitory of the University of Hong Kong in Wai Lun Hall.
It is understood that the deceased's surname is Luo (20 years old), a second-year social science student at the University of Hong Kong. The reporter was a classmate of the deceased. She said that Luo had been unhappy recently. She had quarreled with her family about her future after graduation. Social workers follow up.
At about 11 o'clock last night, the informant planned to chat with Luo Nu and opened the door of the dormitory room. He saw that the deceased was hanging from the ceiling with a towel, so he called the police for help.
Police said a 20-year-old woman surnamed Luo was suspected of hanging herself with a towel in a room on Sassoon Road.
Officers arrived at the scene, and the fire department released the victim, who was confirmed dead at the scene.
The police seized a suicide note at the scene, which stated that he wanted to die, and believed that the incident was not suspicious.
