At the Unterschleißheim tent festival, the spark jumps over with a delay when D'Bavaresi performs.

Thanks to the excellent musicians.

Unterschleißheim

– At the age of eight, little Matthias hid in his mother's closet with the hairbrush as a micro-substitute, trying to realize it.

30 years later he smashes "I am a Bavarian Cowgirl" into the arena of the Circus Bambino with such fervor that it is a real joy.

With D'Bavaresi as a live act, the tent festival culminated in a final musical highlight.

D'Bavaresi is the latest project by the three well-known musicians

What other accessories Matthias Kellner borrowed from his mother's bedroom for his performance remains his secret.

At the Volksfestplatz in Unterschleißheim, he pleaded with the audience not to laugh.

Together with "D'Bavaresi", Kellner interpreted alpine rock in a way that you almost think you're hearing something completely new.

D'Bavaresi are the bass player and singer Sebastian Horn from Upper Bavaria, Otto Schellinger from Lower Bavaria, who is no stranger to any instrument and who played the drums in the Circus Bambino on Friday evening, and the singer-songwriter and cabaret artist Matthias Kellner on the guitar, who describes himself as a child apparently liked to serve in mom's bedroom closet.

From the Spider Murphy Gang to Willy Michl

All three can already look back on their own careers, solo or in association with other musicians.

D'Bavaresi is their latest project, their baby together.

D'Bavaresi have made it their task to turn the songs of Bavarian and also a few Austrian musicians inside out.

The Spider Murphy Gang, Wolfgang Fierek, Konstantin Wecker or Willy Michl;

no one is safe from them.

They didn't even stop at the Talking Heads.

"Austro-Pop becomes Bavaro-Pop" is the motto of the three.

Known from the Bananafishbones

Sebastian Horn has made a name for himself as the singer of the nationally known Bananafishbones and the Bavarian cult band Dreiviertelblut.

In the spring he was a guest with both bands in the community center.

Six months ago, Matthias Kellner performed solo in the same place.

D'Bavaresi entertain their audience between their numbers with cabaret interludes.

The artists master their instruments to perfection.

Horn and waiter in particular are also blessed with a vocal power that is second to none.

Bob Dylan's "Gotta serve somebody" is a must

So it happens that fans of the still young band are waiting longingly for D'Bavaresi to take on well-known musicians.

Bob Dylan's "Gotta Serve Somebody" is now a must for every performance.

The Ringsgwandl cover is called “Take nothing with you”.

The interpretation of the cover (Horn: "we cover the cover") let the audience thaw.

D'Bavaresi didn't have it easy in Unterschleißheim.

Probably because a thunderstorm had been announced, the tent was barely half full.

It's easier to carry a full house with you than to get a few people to clap along because everyone is looking at their neighbors.

D'Bavaresi always give full pot

But the three artists have been given the rare gift of laughing at themselves.

"Anyone who likes to sneak, please, is not noticed," Horn blasphemed the audience.

That worked.

That and the fact that it's in D'Bavaresi's blood to always give full pot, let the sparks fly in the tent with a little delay.
