The Labor Party is considering postponing the primaries following the fighting in the south.

The primaries in the party are supposed to take place on Tuesday digitally and securely via mobile phone, so that you can participate in the elections from anywhere in an easy and effective way.

Alongside the digital voting, physical polling stations will be placed in Jerusalem, Haifa, Tel Aviv and Beer Sheva, which may affect the decision of the party management.

According to the party's CEO Nir Rosen, "During Shabbat we closely followed what was happening in the south of the country.

The Labor Party expresses total sympathy with the residents of the south and strengthens the security forces.

The party's management will meet soon to decide whether to hold the primaries on their date."

As part of the primaries, about 40 thousand eligible voters who will serve for the party by the end of the day, the deadline to do so, will be able to choose 5-7 candidates through a digital voting system. In total, 34 contenders for a place on the party list.

Last week, the party conference approved the election regulations.

Among its sections is a research mechanism between men and women, so that if a man is chosen in second place, a woman will be placed after him and vice versa, and so the list will continue.

It was also determined that places 11-14, which are not realistic, will be reserved for the representatives of the moshavs, kibbutzim, Arab society and Druze society, and also that those who have been indicted for a crime will not be able to compete, as well as those who have served in the Knesset for the past three years and functioned for the party after the dissolution of the Knesset.

The chairman of the party, Merav Michaeli, managed to approve at the conference the cancellation of the armor for the position of secretary general, which is filled by Eran Harmoni, who ran against her for the leadership of the party, but not the cancellation of the position completely.

In the latest polls, the party receives 6-4 mandates.

The names that appear in the real places are not expected to change significantly, but there may be shifts in the internal order between them.

It is estimated that Gilad Karib, who led the Constitution, Law and Justice Committee, and Efrat Raiten, chairman of the Labor and Welfare Committee, places 4 and 5 respectively in the primaries for the 24th Knesset, will finish in the first places

. , who came in 6th and 9th places, are also popular among the incumbents and are expected to climb up the list. On the other hand, Internal Security Minister Amr Bar Lev and MK Emily Moati, who received the most votes last time, may be pushed back, as is Diaspora Minister Nachman Shi , who came in 8th place in the last round.

Several new names will also compete in the elections, such as Derchno CEO and DemokratTV founder Yaya Fink, activist and journalist Tomer Avital, Tel Aviv City Council member Maya Nouri and former chairman of the journalists' organization Yair Trchitsky.

They will try to make their way to real places, but the chances of this are not high.
