The branch of the General Organization for Seed Propagation in As-Suwayda has completed the subscription operations to farmers for potato seeds for imported varieties of the “Elite” rank, due to the necessity of planting the spring seed for the next season.
The director of the Foundation’s branch, Eng. Solaf Al-Saad, stated in a statement to SANA reporter today that the total quantities subscribed to amounted to 17 tons and 500 kilograms, based on the agricultural organization documents, pointing out that the seeds subscribed to were made based on farmers’ requests to serve the implementation of the plans for planting the crop and achieving good productivity during the coming period. .
