Alexander Stevens is currently touring Germany with his Bayern 3 podcast.

In the Circus Krone he delivered an exciting start.

Munich – "Looking into the kitchen is worthwhile after a crime," says Alexander Stevens.

Because that's where investigators often discover the crucial clue: When murderers clean their knives or wash their hands, for example, there are a number of clues that are actually far away from the crime.

The crime scene work takes up to a week: that's how long investigators and forensics are on site.

Murder case without a body in Munich: verdict against perpetrators based on evidence

For example, in the Munich murder case without a body: Maria G. (41) and her daughter Tatjana (16) disappeared in Neuperlach in June 2019 without a trace.

Maria's partner reported the women missing.

But it was only later that it came out that he had whitewashed the apartment when the police were looking for the women – the investigators later found a number of traces of blood under the paint.

His partner H. was considered to be extremely meticulous, but he had done the renovation in a hurry and in a messy way - in the end the decisive clue to convicting him.

Murder trials can also be decided in this way.

Roman H. has to go to prison for 14.5 years.

Munich: Lawyer Stevens appears in Circus Krone with a true crime show

It's the true stories that make the evening with Alexander Stevens so exciting: the Munich star lawyer is currently touring the republic

with his true crime podcast from

Bayern 3 .

He kicked things off last Wednesday in Circus Krone, which was seen by around 3,000 spectators.

They were amazed time and time again when Stevens talked about his practice.

The biggest rookie mistake made by killers?

"If they take the murder weapon with them," says Stevens.

The biggest problem with the inquest?

"There are far too few doctors." As a result, every second murder in Germany would go undetected.

Creepy!

But Stevens conveys these facts in an extremely charming and detailed way.

The moderator Jaqueline Belle is more responsible for entertainment: she accompanies Stevens on tour until the end of December and likes to make fun of him.

Her declared goal: "Finally get Alex under the hood." Because he likes to talk about failed online dates that later end up with a lawyer.

The fact that the victim and the perpetrator do not know each other is the exception: according to Stevens, they are already in a relationship in three out of four cases.

In 85 percent of these murders, the husband is the perpetrator.

Stevens presents the relevant cases for guessing on stage – including photos from the crime scene.

Greed or jealousy are common motives, money or love are the big arguments that escalate.

Stevens explains the work of the lawyers and investigators from more than ten years of practice.

And knows how to inspire with anecdotes from real cases.

According to BR

information , “True Crime – Deadly Crimes” had around one million views

in July alone.

And is thus the most successful podcast on

Bayern 3

.

Especially the teasing dialogues with Jaqueline Belle loosen up the often gruesome cases that Stevens presents there.

He skilfully transfers the format to the stage and does not overload the listeners with legal knowledge, but first makes them shudder, then guess and later often marvel.

Murder in Munich: Most homicides happen within relationships

Stevens can confidently be described as a jack of all trades, because in addition to six seasons of podcasts and 24 live appearances to follow, the lawyer also represents clients from all over Germany.

He is currently defending the Starnberg triple murder at the Munich II District Court.

Stevens was also involved in the criminal proceedings against star director Dieter Wedel († 82).

Here the courtroom, there the stage: Stevens combines both and at the end reveals how to convict murderers.

An experienced investigator once asked the accused the question “What would you do with the real perpetrator”.

"In prison for life," innocent people answer spontaneously.

And the real culprit hesitantly: "Why are you asking me that?"
