A civilian light plane crashed this morning (Sunday) in an olive grove between Yasif and Kfar Makar, near Highway 70. Western Galilee station police officers and emergency and rescue forces who were called to the scene, located the scene and two men.
MDA medics and paramedics determined the death of a 70-year-old man and provided medical treatment to a 74-year-old man in moderate condition, fully conscious with bruises.

MDA motorcycle medic Dor Vaknin and MDA paramedic Firas Reyes said: "When we arrived at the scene we saw the light plane that had crashed, a man in the seventies was trapped inside the plane, he was unconscious and suffered from multi-system damage, we performed medical tests, he was without signs Haim and in a short time we had to determine his death. Near the plane we saw a 74-year-old man fully conscious, after he rescued himself, we gave him medical treatment, he suffered from bruises on his body and we evacuated him to the hospital where his condition was moderate and stable."
An air accident investigator was called to the scene.
