The Palestinian Foreign Ministry affirmed that the international community's failure to implement the UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue and the policy of double standards in dealing with human rights, international crises and the protection provided by the US administration to the Israeli occupation encourages it to persist in its open war against the Palestinian people.
In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continuous Israeli targeting of Christian and Islamic holy sites, foremost of which is Al-Aqsa Mosque, the most recent of which was the extensive incursions of settlers this morning into its courtyards, with the participation of Occupation Knesset Member Itamar Ben Gvir, noting that these incursions are part of the occupation’s plans to Judaize Jerusalem and its sanctities and perpetuate its annexation. And changing its existing historical, legal and demographic reality.
The Foreign Ministry pointed out that the Israeli occupation's aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, its escalation of targeting of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and the intensification of settlers' incursions into its courtyards are two sides of the occupation's brutality and racism.
