An official of the Russian occupation administration in the Kherson region has succumbed to his injuries after an attack, announced local authorities appointed by Moscow.
“Vitali Goura, deputy head of the administration of Nova Kakhovka (
about 80 km east of the city of Kherson
), in charge of communal services, died of his injuries,” a local official said on Saturday evening. , Katerina Goubareva, relayed on Telegram by this administration.
This executive was seriously injured Saturday morning after "an attack" at his home and suffered multiple gunshot wounds, said an anonymous source from this administration, quoted by the TASS agency.
In recent months, several officials appointed by the Russians in the Ukrainian territories they conquered have been the target of attacks.
A Russification of the occupied territories
Since a large part of the Kherson region and part of that of Zaporijjia have been taken, the Kremlin has been pursuing a policy of Russification there with a view to possible annexation.
